Contract manager

Responsibilities:

  • Create and update contract summaries for project team communication.
  • Manage all contract documents to meet obligations and milestones.
  • Implement project-specific business procedures including correspondence, notifications, insurance, change orders, and claim preparation.
  • Utilize contractual analysis to protect Groupe PMM’s interests with clients, partners, and suppliers/subcontractors.
  • Handle change notices, prepare business proposals, and manage contract letters.
  • Anticipate and manage events and risks, proposing strategies and solutions.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Collaborate on insurance matters.
  • Provide comprehensive contractual and business analysis upon management’s request.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.
 
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certifications advantageous.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and drafting contractual documents.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, including Projects.
  • Experience in client-focused operational management.
  • Self-reliant, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication in French and English, with French used in contracts, correspondence, and meetings.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel throughout the REM network.
  • Flexibility in work schedule as needed.
