Procurement manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic procurement planning from pre-bid to project closure.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Develop and enforce policies for compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and improve procurement performance and processes.
- Supervise procurement activities and manage buy-outs.
- Assess and qualify vendors, materials, and services.
- Process requisitions and issue purchase orders.
- Contribute to procurement and contract management guidelines.
- Maintain records and analyze market trends for future planning.
- Resolve vendor disputes and ensure policy adherence.
- Communicate and enforce procurement policies to project teams.
- Manage projections, financial planning, and procurement reporting.
- Review and oversee procurement analytics and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in procurement processes and contract negotiation.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Experience in managing procurement teams and projects.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in procurement management.
