Purchasing manager
Responsibilities:
- Implement purchasing procedures and develop project-specific templates.
- Manage purchasing processes to achieve objectives and deliverables:
- Create Bidder’s List for approval.
- Collaborate with Package Engineer and project disciplines for technical bid documents.
- Prepare bid documents, advise on contractual terms, issue Invitations to Bid.
- Oversee bidding process, address technical queries, release addenda.
- Establish project-specific General Terms and Conditions with Client.
- Coordinate Purchase Order kick-off meetings and handover.
- Control contractual change notices, revisions, claims, back charges.
- Validate Progress Payments to support Accounting.
- Manage procurement-related bonds and guarantees.
- Close purchase orders per project procedures.
- Administer and award purchase orders per relevant laws.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in EPCM project environment.
- Strong data analysis skills identifying gaps, opportunities, and savings.
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency required.
