Purchasing manager

Responsibilities:

  • Implement purchasing procedures and develop project-specific templates.
  • Manage purchasing processes to achieve objectives and deliverables:
    • Create Bidder’s List for approval.
    • Collaborate with Package Engineer and project disciplines for technical bid documents.
    • Prepare bid documents, advise on contractual terms, issue Invitations to Bid.
    • Oversee bidding process, address technical queries, release addenda.
    • Establish project-specific General Terms and Conditions with Client.
    • Coordinate Purchase Order kick-off meetings and handover.
    • Control contractual change notices, revisions, claims, back charges.
    • Validate Progress Payments to support Accounting.
    • Manage procurement-related bonds and guarantees.
    • Close purchase orders per project procedures.
    • Administer and award purchase orders per relevant laws.
 
Requirements:
 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in EPCM project environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills identifying gaps, opportunities, and savings.
  • Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Bilingual proficiency required.
